This morning’s temperature may not provide the strongest evidence, but as we begin the final term of the academic year summer is definitely on the horizon. Although warm, balmy days would be most welcome we are certainly not relying on them to bring the sunshine into Pre-Prep this term. The diary is jam-packed with so many exciting events that are sure to inspire and ignite developing curiosities and imaginations that will leave all the children positively glowing!
Over the coming weeks the children will be sailing the high seas aboard The Matthew of Bristol dressed as pirates; going on a safari to Longleat; climbing aboard a steam train; exploring space; finding out about the horrible histories of the Somerset Levels; going to the beach, not to mention making the very most of the wonderful outdoor spaces. This will all lead up to the spectacular grand finale of this year’s summer show where, if the term has been on the cloudy side, we will make up for it by ‘catching the sun’ (a cryptic clue ahead of the big reveal!)
It’s going to be a scorcher!
