To celebrate Chinese New Year and welcome in the Year of the Pig, international pupils at King’s Hall were invited to join King’s College for a special Chinese supper.

Our children took great pleasure in being able to share in such a special occasion, where the delicious selection of traditional cuisines included Chinese chilli beef, mushroom chow mein and assorted dim sums. It was a great evening enjoyed by all and we’d like to say a big thank you to King’s College for inviting us.

This year at King’s Hall our boarders are also planning to celebrate the New Year alongside some of their day pupil friends. Later next week they will sit down to enjoy their own festive supper, where a tasty feast of sweet and sour pork, hoisin chicken, egg fried rice and spring rolls will be on offer.

International Tutor at King’s College, Lisa Wrobel said: “Everyone enjoyed celebrating this special occasion and we look forward to many other events that bring our prep and senior pupils together.”
