Isla’s Hair Chop for Charity

Looking good! Our little chefs certainly looked the part at yesterday's Cookery School Opening. Read all about this… https://t.co/F9CBCsjznY - 16 hours ago

How beautiful does Isla Ridley look sporting her new ‘do? The Year 7 pupil faced the chop last week as part of her fundraising efforts for St Margaret’s Hospice.

With an initial target of £50, she has managed to smash this number thanks to the generosity of her friends, family, and the school community. Isla now has over £240 in donations, with more pouring in each day.

All money raised is going to St Margaret’s, while the hair she had cut will be donated to the Little Princess Trust, a charity who provide real hair wigs to children and young people with hair loss.

Filled with pride, Headmaster Justin Chippendale said: “Isla has certainly made a sacrifice for the benefit of others with this charity haircut. How powerful for her to feel the joy of giving at such a young age – and she looks pretty cool too!”
