Community Support On Show at Autumn Fair
The half term break always provides us with the invaluable opportunity to look back and reflect on what we have achieved in such a short space of time, and this year is by no means any different.
In fact, this year we are rewinding back to late September when we held our hugely popular Autumn Fair. As always, the event was a great success and it was a delight to see so many members of the King’s Hall community come together for this wonderful occasion. It is safe to say that our staff, parents and pupils enjoyed a day filled with tea, homemade cake, and some delightful bric-à-brac.
After counting up all of our pennies, we are delighted to finally announce that we raised almost £2,900 for our chosen charities, so a huge thank you to everyone who made this possible.
Summarising, Claire Chippendale said: “Many thanks to all the parents and staff who turned out on a rather grey autumnal day to support in either time or donations to our biannual Autumn Fayre. Not only did the children have a fabulous amount of fun, but you generously helped us to raise a good sum of money for Brainwave and for our own development projects.”
She added: “A special thanks to all the year reps for their input and engagement, and for making sure their stalls were the best they could be.”
The total raised for Brainwave and King’s Schools was almost £2900.00.
Pictures speak louder than words so here are here is a selection – thank you.
